Sports Stack: how to play and strategy

Drop sports gear. Keep merging for a higher score.

Rules and progression

Match two identical pieces to make the next size: golf ball, hockey puck, tennis ball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer ball, football, basketball, then exercise ball. The same drop-and-merge gameplay as Toybox Tumble, in a trophy-filled locker room. Use the landing guide and next-piece preview to plan.

Equipment rolls, tumbles, and stacks according to its shape. The guide on the right marks your furthest evolution this game. A pile that stays above the fill line ends the game.

Reaching the exercise ball keeps the run going. Match two exercise balls to clear them for 10,240 points and free up room. Keep accumulating points until the pile stays above the fill line.

Sports Stack keeps its own best score.

Worked example: prepare a second merge

Two tennis balls make a baseball, and two baseballs make a softball. Merge the tennis balls beside an existing baseball and the result may connect again. Check what separates them: a hockey puck or another piece can keep them apart. Plan the shape and landing position of the result, not just whether the first pair matches.

Plan your next move

  • Use the equipment guide to distinguish neighboring sizes. A baseball and softball cannot merge with one another.
  • Leave space above a likely chain. A successful merge can still push nearby equipment toward the fill line.
  • Two exercise balls clear for 10,240 points. Keep playing after the first one; the run continues until the pile stays above the line.
